We are the ones who help develop your career Benedictine Health System (BHS), a non-profit health care system that manages more than 30 senior care communities throughout the Midwest, is seeking a full-time Culinary Services Specialist. Position Overview: This position supports all community culinary services to assure excellence in food preparation, service, guest satisfaction and clinical dietetics. Responsibilities include providing education/training, policy development and implementation, and standardization of culinary services within long-term, assisted living and housing communities of the Benedictine Health System. Responsibilities: Creates, develops and deploys Culinary Services necessary to support food quality and guest satisfaction scores through training, communications, and reporting needs across the BHS system. Supports and ensures performance of food vendors that provide quality and cost effective food solutions. Acts as a collaborative partner to the members of the BHS Operation Leadership Team and the Clinical Services Group to ensure success in operations. Promotes the BHS Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company. Performs other duties, tasks, and/or projects as assigned. Qualifications Required: Bachelor s Degree in related field and at least five (5) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience ServSafe Certified Certified Food Service Director Dietician Licensure Qualifications Preferred: Experience in food service in long term care settings We offer a competitive benefits package, including paid time off, health & dental insurance, 401(k), and more.
