We seek a team member dedicated to providing top notch service to our growing customer base, and to our internal customers. Our Customer Service Department is not the typical call-center environment. Our CSR's are trained and empowered to assist customers over the phone while simultaneously completing their daily tasks that support all departments within our company.
Specific duties include:
Order entry for multiple services
Liaison between departments and manufacturing to: check on order status, request expedites, check on late orders and other special requests
Handle customer correspondence via phone and email
Updating the customer database with address, special notes, shipping information and/or contact changes
Resolve customer complaints by determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment and following up to ensure resolution
Assist in the process of re-quoting or providing an existing quote to customer
Proactive daily follow-ups: Gate& ejector layout approval, late orders, ship hold and customer hold orders
Understand and be knowledgeable about the different processes for different services
Maintain expected response times for various tasks; such as 4 hours for emails, 1 hour for IM order entry, 3 hours for CNC order entry
Answer incoming calls
Other tasks as assigned
1+ or more years Customer Service experience; experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Mathematical proficiency and Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Must have a pleasant telephone voice, demonstrated comprehension skills and ability to speak clearly.
Familiarity with on-line data operations and ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously
Strong sense of urgency and handling and setting priorities
College degree preferred
